A Great Cause!

As friends, family and co-workers of Kim Yobbie (Burque), we are hosting a fundraiser on her behalf. With four live bands, a Motorcycle raffle, and a huge silent auction the benefit is the least we can do for someone we love so much. We are her family, friends and co-workers.

Over the past year, the Yobbie family withstood many of the same financial problems that many have faced; the devastating loss of income and ultimately the threat of foreclosure on their home.

Then, shortly after her 50th birthday, Kim received news that was even more devastating when doctors diagnosed her with Stage Four Non-Small Cell lung cancer. With a difficult prognosis, Kim is fighting with every bit of her positive attitude, sense of humor and the support of all of us. Because she is unable to work during this fight, we are hoping to raise funds to help ease the Yobbie family's financial burden.

Kim is a life-long resident of the Twin Cities, having been raised in Centerville where her parents still reside. The Yobbies now live in St. Paul where Kim is employed by the St. Paul Police Department.
